At Black Girl Gamers, we’re not shy to break the mould. We generate and execute content concepts that stand out against the status quo, often innovating in the gaming space and creating unique crossovers between gaming and other industries. .We work with Gaming, Tech, TV/Film, Beauty, Lifestyle and FMCG brands to create high quality and engaging content propositions that both include and expand beyond gaming audiences in unique ways. Being the first community Twitch page to have a Stream Team and work with commercial brands on a regular basis, we don’t follow the crowd, they literally follow us.
Launch Week is a week-long digital event of live streamed content curated by Black Girl Gamers to connect Game Developers/Studios with audiences for major and long-awaited title launches. We connect talent from our community with the developers, writers and artists to explore the journey of the game’s development prior to its launch, with the final day featuring a demo of the game. For Vs Evil, we curated a schedule of daily, fresh and exclusive content streamed on our Twitch channel to promote their new social deduction game Eville, achieving over 30,000 views. You can read more about our Launch Week here.
PLAY OR PASS
Play or Pass is our trivia game show in which we put our members head-to-head to test their gaming knowledge. Spanning across the UK and United States, we bring members together for a fun day of filming, creating content that yields over 7 million views on Twitter. Past partners for Play or Pass have been Microsoft/Xbox and Heineken.
PRESS JUNKETS & MEDIA LINE INTERVIEWS
Via Press Junkets and Red Carpet content, we give our audience hot-off-the-press access into the latest TV and films aligned to gaming and geekdom. Past clients include Disney and Paramount. We also offer other services as Influencer Marketing for upcoming TV and movie releases.
SPONSORED TOURNAMENTS, GAMING EVENTS AND LIVESTREAMS
Connecting brands to our community via live streamed content is our forte. We have several years of experience producing sponsored content, tournaments and gaming events for our audiences and clients, including our proprietary GameSide Chats which connect high profile individuals with gamers. With two rosters of stream teams across Twitch and Facebook Gaming, we have changed the visibility of Black Women streamings in the industry. Clients have spanned from Governmental agencies to Beauty and Lifestyle corporations.
Our focus on education is just as strong as our focus on entertainment; we blend the two in digital events such as our Black Girl Gamers Online Summit. Our Summit, sponsored by Twitch, highlighted various professionals in the Gaming industry and discussed the most pertinent topics, opportunities and challenges facing Black professionals today. With thousands of live viewers and #BGGOnlineSummit trending on Twitter, Black Girl Gamers had managed to shift the narrative forward and helped many people get hired in the industry in a matter of hours.
